Add Avax to Metamask

If you have tokens in your Coinbase account and you want to move them to MetaMask then continue following this guide.

Before transferring your AVAX tokens to MetaMask wallet you will need to add the Avalanche network to MetaMask in order to view your tokens.

You will need to add the following Avalanche details into MetaMask wallet.

• Network Name: Avalanche Network
• New RPC URL: https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc
• ChainID: 43114
• Symbol: AVAX
• Explorer: https://snowtrace.io/ (Note: the video still uses the previous value, please be assured that snowtrace.io is the correct value).

Move Avax token from Coinbase to MetaMask

If you have already added the AVAX token to MetaMask wallet then this process should be quick.

1. Copy your AVAX receiving address from avalanche account in MetaMask.
2. Login to Coinbase account.
3. After login, go to send/receive page
4. Select the AVAX token from the list & click send.
5. Paste your Metamask Avalanche address (Double check your address).
6. Hit Send once you have confirmed all information is correct.
